| South Salem Veterinary Clinic wants your pooch to
feel right at home. Pursuing this philosophy, we purchased a used fire hydrant
from the City of Dallas. |

| During the spring of 2001,
Dr. Cunningham stripped many, many layers of paint from this relic. As received from
Dallas it was a drab yellow color. He repainted it to reflect more traditional
fireplugs. |
|
| By April 2001, our shiny, red fire hydrant stood
on a new, concrete base in the middle of our pet exercise area. |
